INTRODUCTION

Jordan Lawson is a three time award winning actor, musician, writer, and filmmaker. With over 100+ film and television engagements to his credit, Jordan has concerted with several of those considered paragon within his field.

As a teenager, he began his sojourn in entertainment with performative exploration in various theatre productions while living on the upper west side of Manhattan. Having an overwhelming urge to play music would only throw him deeper into a wholehearted relationship with his writing. He began laying the groundwork in cosmologic poetry as well as writing plays based around his favorite genres like Jazz, Rock, and soulful rhythmic melody. He would soon be in the amicable company of several musical virtuosos who also set similar intentions though their craft as well.

It wasn’t until October 2003 that he was approached by the late actor Jack Warden and an accompanying theatre director during a one-night-only in Central Park across from the infamous Dakota. After a brief, yet reassuring conference between he, Warden, and several other fellow thespians that evening, a pursuit in film was highly recommended with enthusiastic ovation from all in attendance.

Over the next 2 years, Jordan found invaluable bonds with artists from all walks of life on stage and through song, which ultimately guided him toward a new creative identity on the west coast. In April 2006, he relocated to Los Angeles with tremendous anticipation, and found his character niche in film and television.

Jordan has been a member of Alternative Rock bands such as The Flys, Jetliner, The Nymphs, Rocket, and has shared the stage with Sugar Ray, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Missing Persons, Pearl Jam, and other prominent musical acts.

He is currently burning the midnight oil on his debut non-fiction book entitled Recondite Journals: My Year of Illumination, which is expected late winter. The book covers various undertows of life, and his many extramundane experiences during the year 2021 that literally reshaped his philosophy for existence.
